What it does :
Amber Belgian candi sugar will add a smooth taste, alcoholic strength, and color to full-flavored beers while lightening its body. You can use it to make Abbey Ales, Belgian and French Ales.
What it is:
This is an invert sugar, amber in color and chunky in texture, made by breaking down white cane or beer sugar (sucrose) into glucose and fructose with the use of water, heat, and acid.
Amber Belgian candi sugar can be up to 5-10 percent of your fermentables.
Add amber Belgian candi sugar directly to the boiling wort.
